No Tree No Me: Supporting the Australian Koala Foundation
Koalas have just had an exciting month! Here in Australia, and all around the world, September brings both a change of season and the Australian Koala Foundation’s (AKF) Save the Koala Month!
In July of this year, Nature’s Path announced that it would donate funds to support the AKF’s world-renowned research into the conservation and effective management of the koala and its habitat. Here at AKF headquarters in Brisbane, Australia, we are thrilled to have Nature’s Path recognize our work.
In September of every year, koala lovers everywhere celebrate Save the Koala Month by doing koala projects, planting trees and fundraising. This year, the AKF is giving their campaign an international flavour by sharing the message of ‘No Tree No Me’ around the world. Check out the TV commercial at www.savethekoala.com to see what I mean!
The AKF is selling our famous ‘No Tree No Me’ bumper stickers for $1 at www.savethekoala.com. These bumper stickers help the AKF raise awareness about the plight of Australia’s iconic furry animals. Currently, there are less than 100,000 koalas left in the wild in Australia and populations are in steep decline due to habitat loss.
You can help save the koala by letting your friends and family know about Save the Koala Month and the Save the Koala website. You can also continue to buy Envirokidz products from your local supermarket, which will help Nature’s Path continue to support the AKF!
