I have been eating this granola and loving it for several months. I love it with coconut milk. I have just found out, being discharged from hospital tomorrow, that I have congestive heart failure and diabetes. My question is can you tell me whether this food item is normally allowed on a low sodium, diabetic diet?

My wife needs to go on a very low sodium diet for about six weeks, which means no dairy, no soy and no iodinized salt, for starters. Can you tell me whether Nature Made products generally, and this one in particular, contain iodinized salt or any other source of iodine? Thanks!

Hi Sterling and thanks for asking us this question! The sea salt used in Nature’s Path products is non iodized, including the sea salt in this granola.

I love Nature’s Path Foods in general, especially the taste of this granola- however; the amount of product you actually receive for the price is highway robbery. The quantity in this box literally fills up one of my cereal bowls. Sadly, it’s the same story for most of the other cereals too. I understand that good quality, organic ingredients may be a little more costly, but this is ridiculous. Must say I love the line of oatmeals though.

Hi, I noticed that the ingredients on this page for peanut butter granola do not contain any peanuts in them. How is it peanut butter granola, then?

Granola is an essential part
Submitted by Syd (not verified) on April 9, 2011 - 10:55.
Granola is an essential part of my diet because I give myself few allowances. I spoon 4 tbs onto my greek yogurt to give it some taste along with fresh berries. I ate the pumpkin flax for years, and I LOVE it. My gparents, the health nuts, picked it out so I figured it must be okay. My friend Serena introduced me to the peanut butter one and now I will never go back! I might, however, continue to try your other delicious flavours! Thank you for making food that I can add to my diet and not feel (too) bad about!
Thanks so much for sharing

I have been eating your peanut butter granola for several years now. My mother-in-law and myself were going through about 7 boxes a week. It’s the best!! I was extremely disappointed that my grocery store, Whole Foods, stopped carrying it about 6-8 months ago. Now, because of your online store, I’m back on the Peanut Butter Granola bandwagon!!

WOW! First, I’m a granola fanatic. Second, I’m a peanut butter fanatic. I’m almost embarrassed to say that I’ve been eating granola daily for probably a couple years now - it’s my addiction. Now I’ve discovered that you make the best peanut butter granola I’ve ever tasted. So much for kicking the habit (but … thank you)!

Sam- We certainly understand both your granola AND your peanut butter addictions around here. We’re glad you’ve come forward and admitted your weakness. To make matters even more tempting try making blackberry crisp with our Peanut Butter Granola. It’s to die for! And the little dollop of whipping cream will send tasters over the moon. It’s a family favorite in my house. Maria from Nature’s Path

I have tried numerous granola products, and all of your other granola flavors. This one is simply the best. Loaded with lots of flavor, generous peanut portions, and higher in protein and healthy fat then the other granolas. Thanks so much for a great product that I enjoy almost every morning!

My son is addicted to this cereal and I am finding that I need to buy it in bulk! He goes through a box every 3 days and only 1 store sells it in my area. Sometimes I have to make 2 shopping trips to stock up! I wish it were more avaiable…he loves it!

Hi Diana! You can find this granola sold in bulk on Amazon.com, but keep in mind they only ship within the United States. This is a great alternative to searching in stores AND it saves you the extra trips! Take care, Justine, Nature’s Path Team
